About ACCPM

Pertubuhan Pengurus- Pengurus Bertauilah Untuk Projek Pembangunan Dan Pembinan, Malaysia [Association of Certified Construction & Project Development Managers, Malaysia] (ACCPM) formerly known as Pertubuhan Pengurusan Pembangunan Dan Pembinaan Projek Bertauliah, Malaysia [Association of Certified Construction & Project Development Management, Malaysia] (ACCPM) was founded on 19 March 2019 by a group of enthusiastic leaders of construction and project management disciplines.

As there was no local professional body looking after the welfare of construction and project management professionals in Malaysia, the establishment of ACCPM was timely in filling up the void found since the independence of Malaya in 1957.

There is PAM for Professional Architects, IEM for Professional Engineers and RISM for Surveyors, but no local professional body for Professional Construction and Project Managers.

Among the many nobles aims as described in the Constitutions of ACCPM, the main one is to promote and encourage the advancement of construction and project management knowledge and practical experience for the benefits of the professional construction and project managers serving the construction and project development industry

History

ACCPM was officially registered as Pertubuhan Pengurusan Pembangunan Dan Pembinaan Projek Bertauliah, Malaysia [Association of Certified Construction & Project Development Management, Malaysia] (ACCPM) on 19 March 2019.

It was changed to Pertubuhan Pengurus- Pengurus Bertauilah Untuk Projek Pembangunan Dan Pembinan, Malaysia [Association of Certified Construction & Project Development Managers, Malaysia] (ACCPM) on 22 February 2021.
